Unleash your inner artist in the wacky world of 3D modeling! Learn the basics of Blender, the amazing (and free!) software used by pros. Design game characters, goofy monsters, spaceships of your dreams, or literally anything you imagine. We’ll even 3D print your coolest creation so you can show it off to the world!
Typical Session Outline:
- 9am – 9:30am: Drop off and ice breakers
- 9:30am – 10:30am: Maker Lesson
- 10:30am – 11:15am: Free exploration/project building
- 11:15am – 11:30am: Cleanup and Pick up
All project materials and supplies are included.

Maker Cube and it’s staff take extrordinary care to ensure the safe operation and usage of our spaces and tools by all users of the space. All minors will be under constant supervision by staff. For additonal details our safety polices are published here.
Cancellation Policy:
- Withdrawal at least 1 month or more prior to camp start date of the camp = Full refund
- Withdrawals made with less than 1 month notice = 50% refund
- Withdrawals made with less than 1 week notice = No refund

- What ages are the camps suitable for?
- Maker Cube Camps are designed for ages 12 to 16 to ensuring a cohesive experience where all participants can work at a compatible pace.
- What will my child need to bring each day?
- A water bottle and small snack should your child require it. If your child is registered for both the morning and afternoon camp, a packed lunch as well.
- How experienced do kids need to be?
- No prior skills with the software are required! Kids should have some basic computer literacy, using mouse and keyboard, navigating Windows.
- Can I also register my child for the Morning/Afternoon Camp for a full day?
- Absolutely! Your child can join both the Morning and Afternoon Camps for a full-day experience (with a lunch break in between). Each session offers unique content, and we alternate the camps for lots of variety.
